training is designed to help Christians grow spiritually. We
offer many classes to suit the needs of many people. If you
have a suggestion or would like to lead a class, contact our
Discipleship Training leader, Tom Conquy.
Here is a
list of the current studies available.
The Baptist Adult Discipleship Training class led by Henry Britton meets in the sanctuary from 5 to 6 on Sunday nights. This class is open to everyone. The theme for November is Light in a Dark World. What questions do you have about prayer? With the millions upon millions of prayers offered up to God each day how does He listen to each one of my prayers, never mind answer them? How does God listen? How is it that God knows what I need before I ask Him? Come and bring your questions. Let us join together in finding the answers to these and other questions about communicating with our Heavenly Father.
Level One Sign Language class led by Suzie Grado and Mark Burris, our church's only deaf member. This class meets Sunday nights from 5 to 6 in the room off the Fellowship Hall (with an outside exit). The purpose of this class is to help you to expand your horizons into deaf culture, learn ways to communicate with the deaf, and ultimately help us, as the family of God, to grow closer together.
